As Maxium's co-founder and President, Paul has been instrumental in the company's
development and growth, resulting in its position as one of Canada's leading,
privately-held Leasing Companies, with assets in excess of $700 million. Over the
past 17 years, Paul has been instrumental in assembling an exceptional
team of experienced Financing professionals dedicated to servicing several
key vertical markets in Canada. Prior to helming Maxium, Paul was President,
Triathlon Equipment Leasing where he also served as a member of the Board of Directors
of the Canadian Financing & Leasing Association. Following University, Paul
had a successful career at Xerox Canada where he held several sales and
marketing management positions.
Attending McMaster University on a Chancellor's scholarship, he completed his
Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Statistics and Computer Science, followed
by his completion of a Masters in Business Administration. While at McMaster,
Paul also worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Faculty of Business and participated
in several intramural sports, including hockey and basketball.
Paul, his wife and two children live in Richmond Hill where he remains an
active member of his community. He's a scratch golfer and a regular at
the gym. Paul maintains a membership in the National Golf Course Owners Association
and the Golf Course Superintendents Association. In addition to his busy role with
Maxium, Paul serves on the Board of several organizations including the Royal
Canadian Golf Association (RCGA/Golf Canada), Laurence North/Öviinbyrd, Demeure, and Amstel Manufacturing.
The National Post acknowledged Paul as "one of the
Top 25 most influential people in Canadian Golf". Paul also makes time
to volunteer his support to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of Canada.
